The Argentinean Grand Prix, planned on march 28 this year, is cancelled. The country's Ministry of Sport earlier announced the race was cancelled because of organisational problem. Patrick McNally explained it was not financially viable in Argentina.
It is unclear whether Tuero's decision to quit F1 is related to the complications with the race. Tuero is expected to give a press conference this week.
China is now left as the only reserve race on the calendar.
