The Hungarian government has decided to boost the Hungarian Grand Prix with $4.2 million. A spokesman for the government said: "The race itself usually makes losses, but it significantly increases tourism income." Part of the money will be spent on pit extensions and better telecommunication facilities. Last year the race attracted an extra $34 million in tourism revenues.
