Max Verstappen has been voted ‘Driver of the Day’ for the fourth time this season after his spectacular win on the Hockenheimring. Fans worldwide casted their votes during the German Grand Prix of which the Dutchman amassed the most.

Starting from the front row on a wet track, Max dropped back to fourth after the start. After that, the Dutchman quickly made little work of Kimi Raikkonen (Alfa Romeo) for P3. On a track drying up, Verstappen spun during his first run on the slicks, but was able to continue on without issues. For the remainder of the race, Max kept his cool while his peers ahead of him crashed out on a still wet track. Max survived the many safety cars only to bring home his second victory of the season in front of the eyes of the many Dutch fans. To even add to the success, Max also took home a point for the fastest lap.

The two other drivers on the podium, Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari), who worked his way up to second from all the way back of the field and Daniil Kvyat (Toro Rosso), who surprisingly took the third podium of his Formula1-career, also ended up being second and third during the vote for the ‘Driver of the Day’.
