Published on 29 May 2018 by Mike Motilall

Pirelli, Formula 1’s sole tyre supplier, has announced the tyre choices the different teams have made regarding the Canadian Grand Prix. For the race weekend in Montreal, all the drivers have the super-soft, ultra-soft and hyper-soft compound tyres at their disposal.

Looking at the tyre choices from the different teams, we can see that from the three top teams, Mercedes is the one the most reserved. They have gone for only five sets of the hyper-soft tyres. Aston Martin Red Bull Racing and Ferrari are more on the offense with eight sets of the softest compound.
