Published on 31 October 2017 by Niels Hendrix

Hot on the heels of a dominant victory at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City, Max Verstappen is on his way to Las Vegas thanks to ExxonMobil, to link up with the RB7 and the Live Demo team. He will make some noise as the star attraction at SEMA Ignited, the official aftershow of the SEMA automobile aftermarket convention, taking place this week at the Las Vegas Convention Centre.

Max will be giving it socks at the Las Vegas Convention Center on Friday November 3rd. The SEMA Ignited festival takes place in an arena constructed in the Las Vegas Convention Center's gold parking lot, with plenty of space for the full array of donuts and burnouts and ear-splitting speed runs. Max will drive the double-world-championship-winning RB7, complete with 18,000rpm V8 engine.

There will be all manner of custom cars to see, Formula Drift will be doing drifting demonstrations, there will be music, celebrities, food trucks and the Battle of the Builders. SEMA is an aftermarket show, featuring the very best in car customisation. The Battle of the Builders allows of the exhibitors to show off their custom cars and allow visitors to get up close and personal with the best in show.
