Pirelli announces tyre choices Malaysian GP

Published on 20 September 2017 by Mike Motilall

Pirelli, Formula 1’s sole tyre supplier, has announced the tyre choices the respective teams have made for the Malaysian Grand Prix. This weekend the drivers have Pirelli’s medium, soft and super soft compound tyres at their disposal.

Once again there is a difference in the choices made at Red Bull Racing. Max Verstappen has gone for a slightly more aggressive choice of tyres than his team mate Daniel Ricciardo.

Regarding the top teams, Mercedes has also opted for a different choice of rubbers for their drivers. The Ferrari squad has gone for the same strategy Red Bull Racing has in mind for Max.
