Max: “After my vacation, I just can’t wait to get back racing”

Published on 05 August 2017 by Mike Motilall

After eleven of the twenty Grand Prix, on the calendar this year, the Formula 1-world is taking a well-earned break. From today onwards, it is mandatory that the factories from the different F1-teams close for the coming two weeks. This will enable the staff to take some time off and also spend some time, away from the very demanding environment they operate in on a daily base.

Max Verstappen will also temporarily swap his residence in Monaco for another destination. “It is always good to take a vacation. Not only to recharge your batteries but to also connect with your family and friends again. Because I travel that much, it is nice to catch up with one another again”, says Max. “But after my vacation, I just can’t wait to get back behind the wheels again.”

Asking Max to which race he is looking forward to, is a no-brainer. “Spa-Francorchamps”, he says without a doubt. “As a driver, I find this the nicest circuit to drive on and with so many Dutch fans present, it is always very special to race there. It is also great to see all those fans there, I am very happy with that!”
