Max creates an F1 winter wonderland

Published on 14 January 2016 by Stefan Meens

After being postponed due to too much snow, Max Verstappen’s Formula 1 demonstration on the ski slopes of Kitzbühel finally took place on Thursday morning. The spectacular run of the Scuderia Toro Rosso driver served as a prelude to the annual downhill round of the world cup for alpine skiers.

Max’ office for the day, the Red Bull Racing RB7, was transported to the slopes per helicopter. There, at the food of the infamous Hahnenkamm mountain, Max put the roaring F1 racer through its paces. To find grip in the slippery conditions, the RB7 was given special studded snow tyres including snow chains.

The crowd were thoroughly entertained, loving the engine sound echoing through the mountains.
