The Stewart-Ford SF-1 has had its first testmiles on a damp Silverstone circuit. Rubens Barrichello and Jan Magnussen drove a total of 24 laps without difficulties. The team will start a 4 day test session at Jerez on Sunday.

West McLaren Mercedes offered a sneak preview of its new MP4/12 today. The car is described as 90 percent new and has improved radically on aerodynamics, a lower nose profile and changes to the rear wing. The car has already been flown to Jerez for 8 days of preliminary testing by David Coulthard and later on Mika Hakkinen. The car has been shown the team's classic orange colour. The new West livery will be shown on February, 14 in London. The drivers already wear silver overalls though, a sneak preview of the car's colours? Take a look at the car on the McLaren page.
