Despite Rubens Barrichello had a second fastest time in the second free practice today, the teams who use Michelin tyres are having a better time. Ralf Schumacher was the leading man this morning, his tea mate was third. Reigning champion Michael Schumacher got stuck on 8th.

Jos did not manage to get a better position during both sessions than P18, in front of his new team mate Kiesa. The Dane was only able to drive 4 laps but had to stop due to a mechanical failure. Coulthard did not set a time either, he damaged his car when he spun at the beginning of the session and could not drive any further.
