Ricciardo sets Red Bull Racing on top halfway through second day of testing

On the second test day of the second winter test in Barcelona, it was Daniel Ricciardo who sets the fastest time with a 1: 18.357 at 13.00 hrs. During the first part of the day, which will not be interrupted by a lunch break, reigning world champion Lewis Hamilton recorded the second time for Mercedes.

The Aussie and the Brit are so far the only two drivers who managed to set a time under 1:19. Ricciardo set his time on the hyper soft tires while the Mercedes was on ultra softs.
